Why Do We Need To Exercise?

One of the most leading concerns the society has nowadays is the decrease in the amount of physical activities people have that is now one of the leading reasons why there is a growth in the percentage of obesity in the overall population, even in the young ones. Not so long ago, probably a decade or two, when the world is not that much reliant on technology and people's time are not spent in front of the computer or smartphones, a lot are more active physically. Children are seen playing on the streets, playing outdoor activities like running, cycling, skating, and the like. Adults, on the other hand, were active joggers and walkers too. There were not that many cars and adults usually walk rather than drive going to school or work.  Now, the health of a huge percentage of the population is at risk because of a relatively sedentary lifestyle. It is important that time is set aside for exercises to be physically healthy and strong. Do locomotor exercise and cardio exercises that will make your heart healthier, it can help you lose weight and it can also make the bones stronger. Knee exercises are also important to take into consideration in addition to those locomotor exercises. It is not going to be an easy start when you shift from a sedentary or inactive lifestyle to suddenly doing exercises which is why the exercise should be gradual. On the first few weeks, only do the relatively easy ones before you can proceed to the intermediate level of exercises. That way, you can condition your body first and so that exercising will be instilled in your lifestyle. Most of the people who do crash workout or exercises fail to maintain exercise in their routine because they do it so suddenly. It is important that you add exercising  little by little into your routine until it becomes a habit than add it instantly. 

At first you will not see and feel that much difference physically especially on the first couple of weeks. Do not be discouraged because it is not like magic that can happen overnight.
